Ditzy

A playful retail concept that flips the idea of “ditzy” on its head.

Design, Branding, Media, Market Engagement, Prototyping, Visual Merchandising

I wanted to design a store concept that was fun, lighthearted, and didn’t take itself too seriously. The challenge was making “ditzy” feel empowering and fresh instead of negative. Success for me was creating visuals that people could instantly understand and that made them laugh or smile.

Course: Visual Merchandising, in collaboration with Vrinda Gupta

I pulled inspiration from pop culture, playful retail spaces, and bold typography. I worked through sketches and mockups of displays, packaging, and signage that leaned into humor. What I noticed was how easy it was for people to connect when the visuals were unapologetic and didn’t try too hard.

The project showed how humor can shape the whole shopping experience. The visuals made the space memorable and proved that “ditzy” could be flipped into something confident and fun.
